What is the origin of Om

The origin of OM chanting

OM Chanting is part of Atma Kriya, a transforming meditation system provided by Mahavatar Babaji. "Atma Kriya is one of the most powerful and quickest ways to achieve unity with the divine through the raising of limited human consciousness to cosmic consciousness." Mahavatar Babaji. The OM Chanting groups that take place around the world radiate healing and transformation to all people and the earth. All OM Chanting groups are coordinated by authorized persons who have received Sri Swami Vishwananda's personal blessings for this work.

"The journey to be made is from head to heart" - Swami Vishwananda

Inspired by Sri Swami Vishwananda, a spiritual community called "Bhakti Marga" was formed in 2004. The name "Bhakti Marga" comes from Sanskrit and means "way of devotion to GOD". On this way, God comes more and more into the center until ultimately man becomes completely one with the love and omnipresence of God. Prayer, chanting, meditation, repeating the Divine Names, studying the scriptures, self-reflection and selfless service are ways to open yourself more and more to the presence of God. The aim of the Bhakti Marga project is to support people - regardless of their religion, belief, origin - in their individual developmental processes to perceive the divine as love in their own hearts.
