What are the answers for Hirsch Patronus
Harry Potter: The Patronus Figures of All Witches and Wizards
In the Harry Potter universe, a patronus is a powerful and personal protective spell that takes on the shape of a different animal for every wizard and witch and is especially effective against dementors.
The Patronus also reflects the character of its owner. Harry Potter's stag can for example be interpreted as protector and king of the forest, which fits in with the fact that Harry Potter likes to save other people. We have in our overview all known Patronuse (Patroni?) From the films, books and by J.K. Rowling collected verified sources. (spoiler consequences.)
Harry Potter: The Patronus characters shown in the films
The first Patronus shown in the films is that of Lupine in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but he has no real shape. In fact, the first figurative representation is the Protective spell Harry's own: the deer.
Only in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix do others finally come white-silvery shining animals about this - namely when Harry secretly instructed his friends in Dumbledore's army in Defense Against the Dark Arts. The last two films also show Snape's Patronus. In total, we get to see seven different Patronus characters in the Harry Potter film series:
- Harry Potter: Deer
- Ginny Weasley: Horse
- Hermione Granger: Otter
- Ron Weasley: Jack Russell Terrier
- Luna Lovegood: Hare
- Severus Snape: Doe

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1, the warning from the fallen minister of magic is also a patronus, who, however, remains only a light from which people emerge. Aberforth Dumbledore's Patronus in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2 is also powerful, however shapeless.
The Patronus: The Teachers & Adults from Harry Potter
Of course, beyond the films, we know of many more Patronus characters of the witches and wizards from Harry Potter's world, because they in the books or later by J.K. Rowling and Pottermore were confirmed. Here you will first find the Patronus forms of the most important adult figures:
- Albus Dumbledore: Phoenix
- Minerva McGonagall: Cat
- Remus Lupine: Wolf
- Tonks: first rabbit, then wolf
- Arthur Weasley: Weasel
- Lily Potter: Doe
- James Potter: Deer
- Kingsley Shacklebolt: Lynx
- Aberforth Dumbledore: Goat
- Dolores Umbridge: Longhair cat
It is particularly meaningful here that Lupin's Patronus has the shape of a wolf, but is not always recognizable because Lupine wants to hide his werewolf disease. Tonks Brown HarePatronus was changing on the other hand to the wolf when she fell in love with Lupine.
Dumbledore's family is closely related to the Phoenix Fawkes. His brother Aberforth got into talk because of goat magic experiments. The deer figures of the Potters, on the other hand, all seem to be with James Animagus figure (just like McGonagall in her cat form) to take their exit, with Snape again being inspired by Lily's Patronus.
The Patronus and the Students at Hogwarts
Although the Patronus has been described as an abundant heavy spell, so do many student mastered it in Harry Potter's day - largely thanks to his help. The known animals are the following:
- Cho Chang: swan
- Seamus Finnigan: Fox
- Ernie Macmillan: boar
The official fan site Pottermore, which is now part of Warner Bros. Wizarding World, has for some time been offering all users the opportunity to discover their own Patronus in addition to the Hogwarts house allocation and the matching wand. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling revealed that her Patronus is a swan:

In addition, according to Fantastic Beasts: Grindelwald's Crimes at Hypable, the reasonable assumption that the Patronus by Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) a Kelpie is.
As the Harry Potter universe continues to grow with the three films in the Fantastic Beasts series to come, it is not unlikely that soon more figures of Patronus companions will be received or their magical companions, already known in the books, appear for the first time in a film. But to find out, we'll have to wait (at least) until the next film in 2021.
